  • How does MyTEC’s pricing work?
    • The free version of MyTERC is available for teams of up to 50 students. MyTECTutor/Collector costs US$0.084 per student per month when billed annually and US$0.125 per student per month when billed monthly. The price of MyTECPremium is US$0.583 per student per month when billed annually and US$30.833 when billed monthly.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    • You can subscribeMyTEC with any major credit card, online banking, wallet. Invoice will be automatically generated. You can also pay offline through Bank Transfer or cheque payment. After payment please contact us to arrange invoice purchase.
  • We need to change the number of students in our institution. How will that work?
    • You'll be able to add or remove students at any time, even before changing your subscription. Once you have updated the students in your institution, we ask that you correct your subscription to match your current usage (we'll remind you if you are over your seat limit). When you update your subscription, the change will take effect immediately, and a prorated charge or credit will be applied to your account.
  • How secure is MyTEC?
    • Protecting the data you trust to MyTEC is our first priority. MyTEC uses physical, procedural, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information. We regularly back up your data to prevent data loss and aid in recovery. Additionally, we host data in secure SSAE 16 / SOC2 certified data centers, implement firewalls and access restrictions on our servers to better protect your information, and work with third party security researchers to ensure our practices are secure.
  • Should I upgrade my institution or my student?
    • Upgrade your entire Institution if you want administrators for your institution and premium package features for all Students. Upgrade just one Group if you don’t need administrators or premium features for all Courses, but want to add more Students to that Group, want per-course permissions in that Group, or the option to hide that Group from other Group ofStudents.
  • Will I be charged sales tax?
    • Yes. As of February 2019, we will apply state and local sales tax based on your billing address to your total charge.
  • Is there an on-premises version of MyTEC?
    • We are passionate about the cloud system and web enabled secured system.Do not plan to offer an internally hosted version of MyTEC.
  • Does MyTEC offer a discount for nonprofits?
    • MyTEC is happy to offer eligible nonprofitinstitutions a discount on an MyTECTutor,Collector or MyTECPremium annual plan.
  • How do I cancel my MyTEC subscription or trial?
    • It's easy to cancel your subscription. To cancel a paid plan, log in to the MyTEC account you wish to cancel, click your profile photo from the right of the top bar, select Admin console, navigate to the Billing tab, and then select Cancel Plan. Only a billing owner of a paid account may cancel a paid plan. To cancel a trial, follow the same steps, and click Cancel trial. You can cancel at any time during the 30-day trial period. If you cancel on or before your trial expiration date, your account will not be charged. After cancelling, when you reach your plan renewal or trial expiration date, you will then be able to continue to use MyTEC Basic. Read more about
  • What is your refund policy?
    • We do not offer refunds. If you cancel your plan before the next renewal cycle, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your subscription period. When your subscription expires, you will lose access to paid features and all data associated with those features.
